Better?

Well, it seeems that some changes are making progress. We have a 6249 on most shifts now, which is handy and fun. Some employees are "field testing" new uniforms, which are all blue, like task force, which is cool. Or maybe black, which is cool too. This week we're starting new times for the lineup, which may be good, or possibly a pain in the ass. We'll see. Anyway, it shoud prove to be interesting.
Let us know what you think.

After seeing the uniform today I dont think I like it. I think we should NOT try to look like NOPD. So that people know that we ARENT. Esp. for the night crews. When all people see is this dark uniform coming up the dark hallway in the bricks and hear radio noise . The white shirts made us stand out. Besides that fact that all the Hospital workers know us as "Yea the white shirts are NOHD"

I really like the new uniforms. They look professional, they fit better, and I doubt that uniform color will really make a difference in safety as far as the public is concerned. Plus the dark sets us apart from the other EMS services, just like the white shirts do. -Fitz

I think the new uniforms look great. I really don't care for the black, but the navy looks really good. A lot of people are concerned about them being too hot, especially in the summer. But I say..... we're hot anyway during the summer, so why not look good while we're at it!

other services have uniforms if not exactly like ours, then similar (Lifeguard, A-Med). i think folks instead recognize us by all the shit we carry on our belts!
